Waking up and getting ready for school September 10, 2001 was just like any ordinary day with the same old routine, but waking up September 11, 2001 was way different. I would now be apart of a history. On September 11th 2001 the United States of America was attacked by terrorist. Two airplanes were flown into the twin towers, one was flown into the north tower and the other one was flown into the south tower, shortly after that another airplane was flown into the pentagon (military headquarters).
I woke up on 9/11 getting ready for school like it was any other day. I was standing in the bathroom when I heard my mom talking to the TV in the room next to me I walk over to see was she was talking about when I looked up at the TV and saw two airplanes crashing into the twin towers. The news was going crazy. At first I didn’t really know what was going until my mom had told me that the United States was under attack, then I was in shock and thought how was that possible? How is my country being attacked? Going to school that day was even more different, the teacher had all the students go to there homerooms where we watch the news to see what was happening to our country. I remember watching those plans go into the twin towers and the pentagon at least fifty times, and then president Bush talking. For the next month or so nothing was the same everyone seemed worried and panicky, like what was going to happen next. There where high alerts everywhere in the US. There was different alerts high alerts and low alerts, colors represented each one, red was high alert. Flying seemed impossible with all the security and metal detectors you had to go through.
Still watching the news everyday keeping up with what going on, I see president Bush speaking again only this time hearing the word war come out of his mouth quite a bit. I believe bush...
