Abortion is one of the most controversial and significant issues in this generation. It is an intentional violent move to end an unborn baby’s life and demeans the value of human life. Each year, there are many women try to abort their new babies. It is simply an immoral and irresponsible act to do.

There are many people who think abortion is fine, but I personally don’t. Yes, it is a fact that some women became pregnant because it was unintentional due to rapes. But from the moral value point of view, baby is often considered as a gift from God as it is all destined for us to follow the path laid from God. However, it is very unfortunate for women to be raped, and at the same time, being pregnant yet not knowing who the father of the child is. It is a very depressing situation but I personally think she could still carry on with her life by keeping the child thus giving the unborn baby a chance to experience life, the world and maybe contribute to the society.

According to the source from LA times, abortion is one of the most common medical procedures performed in the United States and 52% of women that obtain abortions are younger than age 25. Why do people want to have abortion when all the safety precautions are available to the public? These are mostly decisions made by minors or young adults. They are not matured enough and do not possess much life experiences to make good decisions. When a young couple had sex before marriage and did not take any safety precautions, the likelihood of the girl getting pregnant is high. When the girl became pregnant, both of them are not ready to become parents and most of the time, they do not want to bear the responsibilities of becoming parents at such young age. Had they taken safety precautions, all these would not happen. Therefore, abortion is simply an immoral and irresponsible act to do.

Furthermore, there are many women in society that do not even have the chance to get pregnant. This is very depressing...
