Is Beggary a Menace or a Need?
It was the 25th Ramadhan, one of the last odd days of the Glorious Laylatul Qadr. We were busy preparing for Iftaar, for it was just few minutes away. I was bound as a girl to help him and it made me so angry, so weak, and so powerless! I had come across beggar before but this old man had my heart weeping for him. I could not imagine how he had walked all the way. Did he have a home and a family? How could his family allow him to walk on the roads? Where had he come from? There were questions and the poor...
