This document will be a short field report to analyze the success of a change project for the XYZ, co. How the project fits the DICE concept and what is recommended for the success of the project from this point onward
The XYZ Project Evaluation
When one follows the DICE project concept, it takes on an agreement to understand the Duration, Integrity, Commitment and Effort of the project. This project almost has a guaranteed delay due to the attitudes about the project in the production line operators and the manufacturing area managers even though the top managers are supportive. So at best the Duration is questionable. Since the manufacturing area managers are fearful that their credibility will be compromised, and the team leader is not very strong with organizational skills, there is 1) additional delay to add if there is the possibility that the team leader can assuage the manufacturing area managers or 2) he (the team leader) cannot assuage the manufacturing area managers that their credibility will be upheld, this would introduce questionable integrity issues into the project. The same consideration is involved with the Production line managers, here the upper management team would need to insure job security and provide some encouragement for the production line managers throughout this project to manage any kind of forward movement of the project. Since this project has upper management backing, this can go a long way toward helping to steer the project through the rough spots. The commitment here in upper levels seems fine and will have to be the spearhead that works through the lower levels that have such doubt. The upper management team will need to spend a lot of time encouraging members about the benefits of improving, the weak processes, and how that can mean benefits for the workers.
