Below is an essay on "Halloween Robery" from Anti Essays, your source for research papers, essays, and term paper examples.
It all started on October 29th, 2010 in Boise, Idaho. (Setting) Two men share an apartment, one named John Smith and the other named James Dawn. James Dawn is a rather slender individual, and has wiry black hair. He is twenty seven years of age. John Smith is heavy set and has short brown hair, and is 29 years old. (Characters) John and James had been friends since the beginning of 5th grade. They had an almost inseparable bond. Both men have lost their jobs within the last six months. John ran his own mechanic shop in Boise. James was a technician at the shop. After going through harsh economic downturns, the shop had to be shut down. The two guys generally put out a good amount of work, reeling in a lot of money, because of this, the men have no money. (Conflict) But now they are trying to change things for the better, but could possibly end up the worst possible. (Foreshadowing)
John and James are pondering ideas to get more money.
"What are your suggestions James? We need money!" John said.
"I'm not exactly sure." Said James
"Well, we've already tried applying to as many jobs as possible and no one wants us", "So we need some dirty money." John said sharply.
"That Bank of America on Park Ave has been very busy, if you know what I mean." James Added.
"Not a bad idea" Said John Slyly
That was it! The guys were going to rob a bank. To do so, they needed to plot out a well thought out plan. John and James were not the type of people to think things out thoroughly, so they are planning on pretty much "winging" it. Both men have very modified and fast cars, because of them working at the mechanic shop. This is another reason why they needed money, so they could keep their most prized possessions, their vehicles. The men chose October 31st, Halloween, for their crime in the making, as they were invited to a Costume party the night of the 30th. Both John and James thought this was a great date, it being the holiday. The guys had to wait only one more day...
