The role is categorized as the section within the project which an individual is held responsible. Anyone can assist in the project no matter what their role. The role an individual plays is associated with the task one may perform during a project. One role can be performed by many and a person does not have to hold the title position to perform the given task.
Given the scenario provided, the role of a Business Analyst can be very complex. The main duty of a Business Analyst is that one must comprehend existing and potential processes, including processes for the whole project. The Business Analyst must document business requirements, generate business cases, assists in defining project benefits to include costs, and participates in project reviews
The position of a Business engages in exploring and/or investing during the project. The data that is presented to the Business Analyst can come from several prospects. Issues can take place when people do not know how to give details during the planning process. The Business Analyst must be able to understand the requirements needed. I believe Pat will best fit the role of a Business Analyst because he has been involved in many upgrades in projects and I believe he will be very comfortable with this position. He knows the system very well and has already expressed his opinions regarding the Web-based version of the upgrade. Pat is available to work with the company at least 24 hours a week. These hours gives Pat enough time to investigate and explore the project plus generate documents and participate in project reviews.
