Saw V

Have you ever been to the movie store and wondered about whats good on DVD? Last week I was in the same position. I decided to rent Saw V, which was a highly anticipated movie that was released in theaters like always on October 23, 2008. As you have seen in other movies of this wonderful series, Tobin Bell returned to his role as the famous serial killer Jigsaw. The movie is directed by David Hackel.
To my surprise this movie was a lot different than the previous Saw movies and probably the worst. I was very disappointed with the actors. The famous helper of jigsaw, Amanda Young, who is portrayed by Shawnee Smith was not included in the movie, she was only included in two flash back scenes from Saw three and four where on both of these scenes she was passed out. Also what made this movie very different from the other Saw movies is the focus on the detectives more than the original Saw characters. detective Mark Hoffman was in my opinion the star of the movie.
Horror movies are a hobby to me, its just an enjoyable experience. One of the things I look in horror movies is the ratings. In my opinion the best horror movies are all rated R. I was very disappointed after I watched Saw V, I was looking forward to watching it but I didn’t think it was going to be a disappointment, in my opinion Saw V is the worst of all in the series. I didn’t like the movie because it seemed to me that this series has sort of lost its meaning which I think is due to the lack of the jigsaw character, Now lets face it,...
